Molecular Recognition within the Cavity of a Foldamer Helix Bundle

Our latest publication on molecular recognition within the cavity of a foldamer helix bundle has been published and highlighted on the cover of the Journal of the American Chemical Society.

About the Cover:

Towards the development of functional water-soluble foldamers, we report here the first example of self-assembled foldamers able to recognize and encapsulate simple guest molecules in aqueous conditions. The cover shows high-resolution crystal structures of four distinct host-guest complexes between the foldamer helix-bundle capsule and a range of alcohol-based guests.
